Mast, Darlene Louise (Diller) (9 Jun 1940 - 11 Jan 2008)
Darlene Louise Mast, 67, Unity, Wisconsin, died Friday, January 11, 2008, peacefully in her home surrounded by family.
Darlene was born June 9, 1940, in Elida, Ohio, to Ralph and Esther (Good) Diller. She then married Eli Mast, Unity, Wis. Darlene was a homemaker and secretary for her husband, who is an electrician. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing, needlework and gardening to provide for her family and friends.
Darlene is survived by her husband, Eli L. Mast; children, Samuel and Cathy Mast Benton, OH, Daniel and Beth Mast, Shippensburg, PA, Dervin and Rachael Druist, Dry Run, PA, Daniel and Jewel Otto, Mechanicstown, OH, Saloma Mast, Unity, Christopher and Susanna Nierwinski, Seven Valleys, PA, Joseph and Esther Mast, Abbotsford, Benjamin and Esther Mast, Versailles, MO, Matthew and Keturah Burkholder, Auburn, NY, Titus and Mary Peifer, Owen, Justus and Ruth Christophel, New Oxford, PA; 18 grandsons; and 21 granddaughters. Also surviving are three sisters, Carolyn (Jacob) Hofer Raymond, Alberta, Canada, Sharon (Keith) Scearce, Loyal, and Cleora (Eugene) Campbell, Flat Gap, KY.
Darlene is preceeded in death by her parents; and one grandson, Anthony Christophel.
Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at Owen Mennonite Church, Cty Highway N, Owen. Burial will be at Owen Mennonite Church Cemetery. Those presiding will be Harold Good, Edward Kerr, Harlan Martin, and Daniel Boll. Pallbearers will be Dervin Druist, Daniel Otto, Christipher Nierwinski, Matthew Burkholder, Titus Peifer, Justus Christophel, Joseph Mast, and Benjamin Mast.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at Owen Mennonite Church.
Maurina-Community Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
