RITES SET FOR MRS. EYSNOGLE
Resident of Clark County for 50 Years
Willard--Mrs. Jospeh (Nettie) Eysnogle, 89, Town of Hendren, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Young, Wednesday.
Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. Saturday at the Methodist Church in Neillsville. The Rev. Lee Holmes, Loyal, will officiate and burial will be in the Neillsville city cemetery.
The body will repose at the Georgas Funeral Home until noon Saturday when it will be taken to the church.
Mrs. Eysnogle, nee Nettie Deets, was born Jan. 25, 1861, in Carl County, Ohio. She went to rural schools in Richland County and was married Dec. 29, 1887, in the Town of Bloom, Richland County, to Jospeh Eysnogle.
She came to Richland County from Ohio with her parents at the age of 2. After her marriage, the couple farmed in Richland County and came to Clark County in 1900, where they farmed until 1942. In that year they retired and purchased a home in Neillsville where they resided until Mr. Eysnogle's death March 11, 1945. After her husband's death she made her home with her three daughters.
The Eysnogles celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1937. She was a member of the Methodist Church in the Town of York and in the city of Neillsville.
She is survived by three chidren, Mrs. Charles (Blanche) Schaeffner, Granton; Mrs. James (Zettie) Young, Willard; and Mrs. Merton (Dessie) Davis, Marshfield: and one sister, Mrs. Villa Moser, Richland Center; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, two sisters and two brothers.
