Soderberg, Ceona (11 JAN 1941)
Miss Ceona Soderberg, formerly of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. Arthur Huther, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Huther of Medford, were united in marriage at the Holy Rosary Parsonage in that city in a ceremony performed at eight o’clock Saturday morning, Jan. 11th, 1941, by Rev. George Rueter.
The bride wore a street length dress of dusty rose color, with a shoulder corsage of white carnations. Her bridesmaids were Mrs. Leona LaBerge, who was attired in a powder blue street length dress and Miss Edna Anderson who wore a teal blue gown. Both wore corsages of pink roses.
The groom was attended by Richard Soderberg, brother of the bride, and Leonard LaBerge.
Eighteen guests were served dinner and supper at the John Huther residence. Among the guests was Mrs. Esther Warner of Thorp.
The groom is a graduate of the Medford High School and is employed as linotype operator on the Medford Star-News. The bride is a graduate of the Thorp High School. Her many friends in this community join in extending best wishes.
The couple will make their home in Medford.
