LAWRENCE-In the town of York, Clark Co., Wis., Dec. 18th, 1879, after a lingering illness, J.M. Lawrence, age 66 years and 13 days. As gently as the pure snow rests upon thenew made grave, so may the grace of God fall on the stricken hearts. Sleep on dear friend, they work is done, The mortal pang is past, Jesus has com and borne thee home, Beyond the stormy blast.
