Nonagenarian At Greenwood Is Honored

Greenwood--Mrs. C. E. Holt, route 1, Greenwood, celebrated her 91st birthday anniversary on Tuesday when members of her family came to help commemorate the occasion.

Mrs. Holt, who was born Oct. 10, 1859, in Stone Bank, near Waukesha, lives with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Holt, on the farm which has been her home for more than 70 years. She has been a widow for 50 years.

Coming for the celebration on Tuesday were Mrs. Marrion Begley, Mr. and Mrs. William Holt, Mrs. Merton Holt, Greenwood, and Mrs. Roy Sischo and Mrs. Frank Spangler, route 3, Marshfield.

A large birthday cake formed the centerpiece at the table when dinner was served. She received numerous gifts.

Six children were born to the pioneer couple. There are 20 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
