FLYING FIELD NEAR WAUSAU
George E. Turner, who recently returned home form Lynchburg, Virginia, together with Lieut. John P. Wood, of Buffalo, N .Y. will locate a commercial flying field near Wausau next week.
They have obtained the lease of a large piece of property on Highway No. 10, across from the location of the old Palace Gardens, and expect to erect a small rest room and refreshment parlor as well as a gasoline filling station there.
Both Mr. Turner and Lieut. Wood have been flying in the East and the South during the past year. Their planes will be available for the carrying of passengers for cross country runs, and for aerial photography and they are offering a course in flying to those interested.
