Davel, Evelyn F. (17 APR 1941)

Miss Evelyn F. Davel of Minneapolis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Davel of Loyal and Fred W. Nolan of Minneapolis were united in marriage on Thursday, April 17th, at 8 o’clock in the morning at St. Stephen’s Church in Minneapolis, with the Rev. J. Ryan officiating.

A British tan costume suit with brown accessories and a corsage of brown orchids was selected by the bride for the occasion, while her sister, Miss Kathryn Davel, chose a navy blue costume suit with a white corsage. Matthew Finley attended the groom as best man.

Dinner for immediate relatives and friends was served at the Colonial Inn, and the bridal couple left on a several weeks’ wedding trip. They will be at home to their friends after May 1 in Worthington, Minn., where the groom is employed by the Mid West Telephone Company.

Mrs. Nolan was graduated from the Loyal High School, Stevens Point State Teachers College, and a Business School in Minneapolis. She has been employed as a secretary at the Northern Textile Company offices in Minneapolis for the past fifteen years. Her husband graduated from the Waverly, Minn., High School.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Davel, Martina Davel, Paul Davel, Jane Davel, Dorothy Jean Davel, all of Loyal, and Mrs. A. J. Phair of Chilton were out-of-town guests at the wedding.

The Tribune joins the newlyweds in wishing them much happiness.
