Clark County News
Mary Cowan, wife of Frank Cowan, carsmith for the Wisconsin Central Railroad Company, at Abbotsford, died Thursday. She leaves a husband and four small children.
*Transcriber note: My great-grandmother, Mary Ann (Maria) Cowen, was the daughter of Frederick and Wilhelmina "Minna" Doernenburg. She was born in Germany and arrived in this country in 1868. She died at age 33 from complications of childbirth. Her children were Theodore, Frederick, Archibald, and Minnie.
