Miss Viola Mary Hainzlsperger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hainzlsperger, and Keith LeRoy Kenyon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kenyon, exchanged marriage vows Monday morning, Sept. 6, at 9:00 o’clock at a nuptial high mass in St. Mary’s church in Colby, Wisconsin, Father Vincent Schwartz, pastor, officiating.
The bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. Delbert Morrow, as matron of honor and by Miss Shirley Kleinschmidt of Loyal, niece of the groom, and Mrs. John Hainzlsperger, sister-in-law of the bride, as bridesmaids. The groom was attended by Delbert Morrow of Unity, brother-in-law of the bride, as best man and by Delmar Kleinschmidt of Loyal, nephew of the groom, and John Hainzlsperger of Milwaukee, brother of the bride, as groomsman.
The bride was attired in a gown of lace and nylon net over satin. Her bouquet consisted of pink carnations, yellow and white pompoms surrounded by white gladiolus. The matron of honor wore a blue taffeta dress with blue lace trimmings. Miss Kleinschmidt wore a dress of gold satin with lace trimmings. Miss Kleinschmidt wore a dress of gold satin with lace trimmings. Mrs. Hainzlsperger wore a dress of dusty rose nylon net over taffeta. The matron of honor wore a wrist corsage of yellow roses and the bridesmaids wore wrist corsages of pink roses.
A reception was held at St. Mary’s Gym in Colby and a wedding dance was held at the Colby Park Pavilion.
The couple will be at home after Sept. 15.
The groom is employed at Streckert’s, Abbotsford, Wis.
Guests at the wedding were from Milwaukee, Knoles, Neillsville, Granton, Stevens Point, Loyal, Spencer, Unity and Colby, Wis.
