Fabian, Alice (20 MAY 1941)
(Wis. Dells Events)
The Hale Tolleth home was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Tuesday morning, May 20th, 1941, when Miss Alice Fabian, daughter of Mrs. Tolleth of Wis. Dells became the bride of Durward Lindquist of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.). The wedding, which was performed by Rev. John Shannon, took place beneath an archway of spirea and purple iris, and a profusion of spring flowers made the house very attractive. The bride was attractively gowned in tan, as was Miss Janice Fabian, her sister, who served as bridesmaid. The groom was attended by his brother Russell of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served to the immediate relatives after which the young people departed on a short wedding trip.
The bride is one of the popular young ladies of the city, having been born here and graduated from the local high school, with a wide circle of friends and on account of her happy disposition, well liked by all who came in contact with her.
Mr. Lindquist is a graduate of the engineering course at the University of Wisconsin and since last summer has been in charge of the National Youth Camp at Wawbeek, and during his residence here has made many friends in the community, and the Events joins with their many other friends in wishing them happiness and success through their wedded life.
Among the out of town guests were the groom’s brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. K. Lindquist of Eau Claire, Mr. and Mrs. J.N. Julson of Chicago, and Mrs. Erwin Carter of Madison.
