Brzezinski, Simon (28 OCT 1866 - 27 JUN 1941)
Simon Brzezinski, 74, of Gilman, passed away suddenly on June 27th, 1941 of a heart attack. He was a former resident of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), having spent thirty-five years in this vicinity on a farm. He retired some years ago and in 1935 moved to Gilman.
The deceased was born in Poland on Oct. 28, 1866. He came to America in the year 1894, residing in Buffalo, N.Y. six years before coming to Thorp. His wife, Helen Wilczinski, preceded him in death.
Surviving relatives are two sons, William and Walter of Thorp; four daughters, (Bessie) Mrs. Stanley Bielecki of thorp, (Stella) Mrs. Frank Klick of St. Paul, (Wallie) Mrs. Gordon Spiess of Neuport, Minn., and (Marie) Mrs. Walter Jarocki of Chicago, and fifteen grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Church on Tuesday morning at nine o’clock, Rev. F.A. Kulig officiating and interment following in the parish cemetery.
