Cornwell, Sabrey E. (30 DEC 1861 - 9 JUL 1941)

Mrs. Sabrey Elizabeth Cornwell died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A.R. Burss near Hannibal, Wednesday morning, July 9, 1941, after an illness of four weeks.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Fisher at the Presbyterian Church in Hannibal, Friday at 2 p.m. and interment in Hannibal Cemetery.
Surviving relatives are, a sons Earl Cornwell of Eidsvold, three daughters, Julia (Mrs. A. R. Burss) of Hannibal, Gust (Mrs. Judd Royce of Jump River, Lula Mae (Mrs. Oscar Evenson of Owen, twenty grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a brother, John Warden of Eidsvold, a sister, Mrs. Nancy Sayles of Eidsvold, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Sabrey Elizabeth Warden was born at Redwood, N.Y., Dec 30, 1861, and grew to womanhood there. She was married to Lowell M. Cornwell in April 1880. They came to Wisconsin during the fall of 1880, first to Elroy and later to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.). At different times they lived at Eidsvild, Stanley, Thorp, Little Black and Jump River.
Mr. Cornwell died in the spring of 1931. Since then Mrs. Cornwell has lived with her children, most of the time with her daughter, Mrs. A.R. Burss at Hannibal.
