Laack, Minnie (19 Feb. 1872 - 26 Apr. 1954)
Mrs. Minnie Laack of Abbotsford, Wisconsin died Monday and funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock in St. Peter’s Lutheran church in Dorchester, Wis., Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiating, and burial will be made in the Dorchester cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Lulloff Funeral Home until 11:00 o’clock this Thursday morning. Grand sons will serve as pall bearers.
Minnie Dake was born in Hussen, Germany, on February 19, 1872, and came to the United States in 1880 with her parents who settled on a farm near Dorchester, Wis. She married Gustave Laack of Dorchester on May 7, 1892. They operated a farm near Dorchester, Wis. He died in 1930 but she stayed on the farm until 1936 when she moved to Abbotsford, Wis.
Surviving are six daughters and one son - Mrs. Albert (Amanda) Lindau of Dorchester, Mrs. Ed (Alma) Stock of Abbotsford, Mrs. Max (Rose) Hoffman of Stetsonville, Mrs. Melvin Tennis of Unity, Arnold Laack of Abbotsford, Mrs. Harry (Leona) Mandel of Unity and Mrs. Floyd (Elva) Binning of Unity, Wis. Also 25 grand children and 15 great grand children.
Besides her husband, she is preceded in death by three brothers, one sister; one son and one daughter died in infancy.
