Rudd, Rene Emma (18 Sept. 1877 - Sept. 1954)

Funeral services for Rene Emma Rudd, whose death was chronicled last week, were held at the Lulloff Funeral Home Friday evening, Oct. 1st, Rev. William C. Grafe officiating. Burial was made at Cylon, Wis., on Saturday, Oct. 2nd.

Rene Emma Swanson, daughter of Henry and Betsey Swanson, was born on September 18th, 1877. On May 7th, 1895, she was united in marriage to David Edmund Rudd. To this union 11 children were born - David of Boyceville, William of New Richmond, Elvera of Cylon, Pearl of Osceola, Joseph of Cylon, Lawrence of Madison, Oliver of Chicago, Ill., Raymond of New Richmond, Erma of Curtiss and Walter and Irene, now deceased. Her husband also preceded her in death.

She also leaves to mourn her passing, one sister, 35 grandchildren, 27 great grand children and a host of friends.

Mrs. Rudd lived all her life in Wisconsin, 47 years on a farm in St. Croix county, The last eight years she made her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Munson of Curtiss.
