Kuenzi, Conredina (19 May 1868 - 13 Nov. 1954)
Mrs. Conredina Kuenzi died Saturday afternoon at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital, where she had been a patient since she suffered a fractured hip at her home in Abbotsford on October 29, at the age of 86 years. Funeral services were held at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby Tuesday afternoon, Rev. F. H. Sprengler, pastor of the Christ Lutheran church at Abbotsford, officiating, and after the services here, the body was taken to Juneau where services were held in the Lutheran church and burial was made in the Juneau cemetery.
Mrs. Kuenzi, who lived in Abbotsford with her son, Walter, was born on May 19, 1868, at Lebanon in Dodge county where she was married to Emil Kuenzi on January 29, 1891. The couple lived in Dodge county for 54 years. Following her husband’s death, Mrs. Kuenzi made her home with her son, Walter, and a daughter, Mrs. Henry Nehls of Juneau.
Surviving, besides her son and daughter are 13 grandchildren, 22 great grand children, and three sisters - Mrs. Herman Witte of Granton, Mrs.Mary Beck of Fergus Falls, Minn., and Mrs. Arthur Taute of Fond du Lac. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, two sisters and four brothers.
