Mrs. Joseph Fechhelm Dies After Long Illness
Mrs. Joseph Fechhelm died at 1:15 o’clock Saturday morning at her home in the town of Hull at the age of 39 years after being ill the past several months. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Zion Lutheran church, Rev. O. Hoffmann officiating, and internment was made in the Hillside cemetery at Marshfield. Pall bearers were Elroy Brehm, Harold Wiersig, Harold Viergutz, Ervin Primeau, Ervin Fisher and Willard Becherer.
Mrs. Fechhlem, the former Leona Dommer, was born on June 9, 1915, in Fortuna, N.D. She came to Wisconsin in 1929 with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dommer, and settled on a farm in the town of Hull.
Surviving are her husband; her parents; and three brothers, Arvin, Delphin and Leonard Dommer, all of Colby, Wis.
In the death of Mrs. Fechhelm, her friends and relatives fully and keenly realize their loss. She was true and devoted to those she loved and would make a bright chapter in any life. While she is gone from the scenes, the conflicts, the sorrows and pleasures of life, she will still live in the hearts of those who knew her best.
