Sonneman, William (25 Dec. 1880 - 19 Dec. 1954)
William Sonneman died at 1:30 Sunday morning at his farm home in the town of Hull at the age of 73 years. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the First Evangelical and Reformed church, Rev. V. O. Grosshuesch officiating, and internment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers were Oscar Case, William Beawer, Chas. Hane, Melvin Duvall, Adam Fitzel and Fred Schorer.
Mr. Sonneman was born on December 25, 1880, in Manitowoc county where he was married to Anna Goetsch on July 3, 1909. In 1912, the couple moved onto a farm in the town of Hull where they made their home since.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Lester and Arno Sonnemann, both of Colby; a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Stella) Oman of Wausau; a sister, Mrs. Mac Noetcher of Kiel; and three grand children.
Mrs. Sonneman was well known as a man of good Christian character, strictly honest in all his dealings, and being of an industrious and congenial disposition, he had many friends who will miss his companionship and kindly disposition.
