Warren, Minnie (2 APR 1884 - 29 JUL 1941)
Mrs. Minnie Beilfuss Warren, 57 years of age, passed away at Chicago, Ill., on Tuesday, July 29, 1941. She was a former resident of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).
Minnie Crowley was born on April 2, 1884 at Peterboro, Ontario, Canada. She came to Thorp with her parents when but six years of age and was brought up in this community, attending the local school.
She leaves to mourn, her husband, Plenney Warren of Chicago, two daughters, (Arvilla) Mrs. Gilbert Kessler of Madison and (Romilda) Mrs. Charles Bechtel of Milwaukee; two brothers, Pat and Fred Crowley of Owen; five half-sisters, Mrs. Nellie Berendsen of Antigo, Mrs. Sayde Jacobson and Margaret Crowley of Thorp, Mrs. Josephine Weiler of Faribault, Minn., and Mrs. Agnes Murry of River Falls.
The body was brought here from Chicago and lay in state at the Bogumill Funeral Home until the time of the funeral which was held at St. Bernard’s Church on Saturday morning last, Father Arnold M. Muckerheide officiating and interment following in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Clarence and Wilfred Hedler, Anton Velcheck, Alfred Kass, Jay Alger and Wilfred Vanderhyden.
