Klecacky, Mildred (9 AUG 1941)
Mr. Peter Kozikowski, son of Mr. and Mrs. and Miss Mildred Klecacky of the town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), were united in marriage by Father T. Szczerbicki at nine o’clock Saturday morning, Aug. 9th, 1941, at St. Hedwig’s Church.
The bride was beautifully gowned in white voile, trimmed with white lace. She carried a bouquet of white Easter lilies. Her bridesmaid, Mary Mroz, was attired in a blue taffeta dress with pink accessories. Maid of honor, Nellie Kozikoski, wore a pink taffeta dress with blue accessories. Both maid of honor and bridesmaid wore corsage of pink roses.
The groom and his attendant, Walter Pietras, both wore the conventional blue suits.
A wedding reception was held at the P.N.A. Hall, where festivities continued throughout the day and a dance was held in the evening for relatives and close friends. A free wedding dance was given on Wednesday evening, Aug. 13, music by the Melody Masters.
The newly married couple will be at home to their many friends on the groom’s farm in the Township of Hixon.
Out of town guests attending the wedding were, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Shalleron and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Sperwak, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Buk and family, all of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Roytek of Stanley and Mr. and Mrs. Peter Buk of Lublin.
