Justman, Roy Mrs. (Marriage - 5 Jan. 1955)
Last week Wednesday afternoon in the Trinity Lutheran church in Unity, Wis., Mrs. Roy Justman, Jr., of that village, and Leo Bloom, of the Loyal vicinity, were united in marriage by Rev. Claude Vander Stoep.
Following a trip to the West Coast, Mexico and Texas, the couple will reside in Unity, Wis. The bride owns a grocery store there and she and Mr. Bloom, who was a cheesemaker at the Pine Grove Cheese Factory near Loyal until Jan. 1, will operate the store together. They will be at home Feb. 1.
During the 2:30 o’clock rites, Miss Sharon Olson and Miss Romelle Johnson sang "O Perfect Love." Mrs. Henry Binning played a prelude of organ music while the guests were seated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Johnson, town of Unity, and her husband is the son of Mrs. Henry Bloom, Loyal.
Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Corwin Dallman, Unity, Wis. Ushers were Walter Johnson, Spencer, and Lester Bloom, Loyal, brothers of the bride and groom, respectively.
The bride wore a royal blue wool gabardine suit accented with a white hat and gloves and a white orchid corsage. Mrs. Dallman, the matron of honor, was attired in a navy blue suit set off with a corsage of white carnations. Her hat and gloves also were white.
The reception for 60 guests was held at the home of the bride’s parents. Blue and white streamers and white wedding bells were used in decoration and there was a three-tiered decorated cake.
The guests were from Loyal, Owen, Spencer and Unity, Wis.
