Hanson, Richelle Marie (Marriage - 28 May 1955)
Miss Richelle Marie Hanson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hanson of Unity, and Edward Fricke, son of Mrs. Bertha Fricke of Colby, Route 1, were united in marriage at the home of the bride Saturday afternoon, May 28. In charge of the nuptials was Arnold Ruprich with Miss Kathy Bush singing "I Love You Truly."
The bride, carrying a shower bouquet of red roses, white gladiolas and white lily of the valley, appeared in a ballerina-length nylon lace appliqué-over-satin gown, which had a Queen Anne collar, long sleeves and a pearl and sequin trim neckline.
Attached to the rhinestone and pearl crown was the shoulder-length lace-trimmed veil.
Miss Gloria Hanson of Unity was her sister’s maid of honor in a lace and net-over-satin ballerina-length frock. Yellow and white carnations formed her colonial bouquet. The groom’s brother, Orville, was his best man.
Approximately 100 wedding guests attended the reception and dinner at the bride’s home after which a dance was held at Colby Park. Following a honeymoon to Niagara Falls the Frickes will live on route 2, Colby, Wis.
