Jacobi, Audrey Grace (Marriage - 22 June 1955)
Miss Audrey Grace Jacobi, daughter of Mrs. Clara Jacobi of Abbotsford, and Joseph Pupp, son of William J. Pupp of Abbotsford, were united in marriage at a wedding ceremony performed Wednesday, June 22, in St. Bernard’s rectory in Abbotsford, Rev. Raymond Schultz reading the marriage ceremony. Miss Lucianna Pupp, sister of the groom, was maid of honor and Miss Joan Geiger of Wausau, cousin of the groom, was bridesmaid. Donald Kunze of Abbotsford was best man and Ronald Pupp of Stratford, a cousin of the groom, was groomsman.
The bride chose a dress of nylon tulle and lace over satin for her wedding. The tiers of lace and tulle formed the floor-length skirt. The bodice had a Queen Anne collar and long sleeves which tapered to points over the wrists. A crown of sequins and pearls secured the finger-tip veil.
The maid of honor wore a pink dress of net and lace over taffeta and carried a colonial bouquet of carnations and roses. The bridesmaid wore a blue formal length dress of net and lace over taffeta. The bride’s mother wore a blue dress with pink accessories.
Both the bride and the groom are graduates of the Abbotsford school. He is employed on a farm east of Abbotsford and she had been working at home. Following their honeymoon tour of Wisconsin, they will reside on a farm east of Abbotsford, Wis.
Out of town guests were from Chicago, Ill., Wausau, Marshfield, Stratford, Dorchester, Owen, Milwaukee, Edgar, Spencer and Colby, Wis.
