Engeldinger, Bernadette (Marriage - 30 June 1955)
Miss Bernadette Engeldinger, daughter of Albert Engeldinger of Colby, and James M. Hauser of Colby, Wisconsin were united in marriage in St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby Thursday morning, June 30, at 9:30 A.M., Rev. Vincent Schwartz reading the marriage ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. John Dittner, brother-in-law and sister of the groom, were their attendants.
The bride was attired in a gown of Chantilly lace and tulle over satin fashioned with a scalloped illusion neckline, fitted lace bodice with Peter Pan collar and long tapering sleeves. Her bouffant tulle skirt appliquéd in lace matifs was over skirts of net and satin. Tiara of crystal beads, sequins and pearls held the lace edged illusion veil. Her bouquet consisted of an orchid surrounded by white stephanotis. Mrs. Dittner wore a dress of blue net over taffeta with a matching lace jacket. Her bouquet consisted of blue, white and yellow carnations.
A reception was held at the home of the bride after which the young couple left on a honeymoon in Northern Wisconsin. They are now at home in Colby, Wis.
The groom is employed at the Lulloff Furniture Store in Colby and the bride is employed by the General Telephone Co. Both are graduates of Colby High School.
Out of town guests were from Spencer, Stratford, Abbotsford, Oshkosh, Port Edwards, Marshfield, Clintonville and Monroe.
