Hasenohrl, Rosaleen Mary (Marriage - 27 Aug. 1955)
Rosaleen Mary Hasenohrl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hasenohrl of Colby, Route 2, and Roderick Lyle Ewert, son of Mrs. Dora Ewert of Unity and Henry Ewert of Dorchester, were united in marriage at St. Mary’s Rectory in Colby Saturday, August 27, at 11:00 A.M., Rev. Vincent Schwartz reading the marriage ceremony. The couple was attended by Marcelina Hasenohrl and Richard Hasenohrl, sister and brother of the bride.
The bride was attired in a gray faille princess style dress and her bouquet consisted of red and white roses. Her attendant wore a gray faille dress and her bouquet also consisted of red and white roses. The bride’s mother wore a navy crepe dress with rhinestone accessories. Her corsage consisted of pink and white carnations. The groom’s mother wore a navy dress with white accessories and her corsage also consisted of pink and white carnations.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents at 8:00 o’clock in the evening. The home was decorated with white wedding bells and pink, green and white streamers.
The groom is employed by the Chicago-Northwestern Railroad as a telegraph operator.
Out of town guests were from Marshfield, Milwaukee, Hewitt, Auburndale, Eau Claire, Dorchester, Unity, Spencer and Chippewa Falls.
A miscellaneous shower was given by Mr. and Mrs. Arlyn Ewert at their home.
