Wanta, Barbara (Marriage - 3 Dec. 1955)

Miss Barbara Wanta, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. J. Wanta of Cudahy, and Marvin T. Mews of Milwaukee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mews of Unity, were united in marriage in a candlelight service Saturday evening in the Unity Lutheran church at Unity, Rev. Claude Vander Stoep officiating at the 7:00 o’clock ceremony. Nuptial music was provided by Mrs. Henry Binning. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Steinke of Milwaukee attended the couple.

The bride was attired in a ballerina-length gown of white lace over satin with tulle draped across the shoulders and bodice. Her shoulder corsage consisted of baby mums and a white orchid. A white nylon and satin fitted cap with a blusher veil completed here ensemble.

The bride is a graduate of Cudahy High School and the groom is a graduate of Unity High School. After their wedding trip in southern states, they will make their home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
