Pribbernow, Melva (Marriage - 7 Jan 1928)
BOCKNING - PRIBBERNOW
Walter Bockning, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bockning, 732 E. 4th St., Marshfield, and Miss Melva Pribbernow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Pribbernow of Curtiss, were married at the parsonage of Immanuel’s Lutheran Church at 7 o’clock Saturday evening, Jan. 7, 1928.
The ceremony was preformed by the pastor Rev. O. Hensel.
The groomsmen were John Pribbernow, brother of the bride, and S. Wiechman. The bridesmaids were Emma Bochning and Martha Stecker cousins of the groom.
A reception was tendered at the home of the groom’s parents. The guests were entertained at dancing. A wedding dinner was served at 5 o’clock dinner was served at 5 o’clock and a lunch served at midnight.
The newlyweds will make their home in Marshfield. The home was prettily decorated in a color scheme of white and blue.
The bride was attired in flat crepe of pea green color and carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations.
