Glowacki, Mary (1 NOV 1941)
The Rectory of St. Hyacinth Church, Wolfram St., Chicago, Ill., was the setting Saturday afternoon, Nov. 1, 1941, for the wedding of Miss Mary Glowacki, daughter of Paul Glowacki, formerly of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Robert W. Lowell, of Sheridan Road, Chicago, Ill., which took place at three-thirty o’clock.
The bride was attired in a gown of white net and Jersey with a fingertip veil and carried a beautiful bouquet of flowers. She had as her only attendant, her sister, Miss Rose Glowacki, who wore a gown of varied shades of old rose and carried a bouquet of flowers similar to that of the bride’s.
The groom was attended by the bridesmaid’s fiancé. Both men wore dark suits with gardenia boutonnieres.
After the ceremony a reception was held at 6:30 o’clock at the Syrena Restaurant, South Archer Av. For seventy-five guests.
The out of town guests were Paul Glowacki of Eau Claire, Stanley Glowacki of Madison, and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Glowacki of Thorp.
Mr. and Mrs. Lowell are employed in Chicago and will reside there until February when they plan on moving to Florida.
