Colby, Wis. - Local News July 7, 1955

Bill Roth returned from the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. James Feddrick of Chicago visited at the William Ebert home Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Young and family of Milwaukee visited relatives in Colby last week.

Miss Helen Yelke of Chicago spent the past week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Yelke.

Mrs. Annie Pipe of Chilton spent the week-end with Mrs. Anthony L. Schemmer. The ladies are cousins.

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Mossing and daughter of Milwaukee spent the week-end with the former’s mother, Mrs. H. P. Mossing.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rosselet and son of Milwaukee visited last week with Mrs. Rosselet’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Kobs.

Mrs. Theo. Lueloff and daughter, Miss Gertrude, R.N., spent several days at Sharon with their son and brother, Orland, and family.

Harry Fecker of Colby, Route 1, returned from the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital where he had been receiving medical treatments for eight days for a heart ailment.

Mrs. Tom Alioto and children of Milwaukee spent the past week with her mother, Mrs. Emil Pokallus, while her husband was fishing in Northern Wisconsin.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Marz of Chicago are guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Bane this week. All four are spending several days fishing at Edgewater. The ladies are sisters.

Guests over the week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Weix were Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Seiler of Chicago, Ill., William Kovatch of Milwaukee and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Martin of Winona, Minn.

Mr. and Mrs. Al Hansen of Faribault, Minn., James Hansen of Minneapolis, Minn., and Harold Neumeister of Milwaukee visited over the week-end with Miss Mabel Neumeister and Mrs. Adeline Imhoff.

Mrs. L. J. Lukowicz attended the 30th annual convention of the Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars at Eau Claire. She *** Note: The remainder of this article was missing.
