Letter from Ervin Horn

Dear Sir,

Salem, Ore. 7/25/1922

Would you please send our paper (Mrs. R. Horn) to the address given below. I think it has about expired, so will write to the folks at home to pay for next year.

We arrived here without any serious trouble, although it is hard the first time. I like the country fine so far. The thermometer registered 100 one day, but has cooled off a whole lot the last few days. I think the change has done me some good although I can't do very much yet.

We are anxious to hear some news from Greenwood, so please send the Gleaner to C. W. Beecroft, Salem, Oregon, Route 8, Box 194B.
