Berry, Garmon E (14 July 1929 - 6 February 2008)
Garmon E. Berry, 78, of Neillsville, formerly of Cataract and Kenosha, went to his beloved Lord, February 6, 2008.
Garmon was born July 14, 1929, in the Town of Little Falls to Lenord and Gretchen (Cody) Berry.
On June 27, 1970, he was united in marriage to Anita Anderson in Rothschild, Wisconsin.
Garmon was a milk hauler and worked construction while living in Cataract. He moved to Kenosha and drove for KAT and worked at Berton-Klemp Dynamatic. He left Rolling Hills of Zion, IL, to return to Cataract where he retired from Northern Engraving. In 2002, he moved to Neillsville.
Besides his wife, Anita, he is survived by three daughters, Pauline (David) Ott and Ann (Milton) Heintschel, both of Fayetteville, TX, and Dawn (Dave) Arndt of Neillsville; a son, Henry (Julie) Berry of Neillsville; two granddaughters, Brenda Hammond and Elizabeth Arndt; and three grandsons, Malachi and Isaiah Berry and Elijah Arndt. Also, surviving are a brother, Dean (Elizabeth) Berry of Cataract; a sister, Gracia Leis of Sparta; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Garmon Wayne and Steven; and by his brother-in-law Martin Leis Sr.
Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, February 16, at Black River United Methodist Church, Black River Falls. Visitation begins at 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Rev. E. James Verkest of Mosinee UMC will officiate.
