Warden, Edna (24 SEP 1892 - 3 JAN 1942)
Miss Edna Warden, 49, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Chippewa Falls, on Saturday evening, Jan. 3, 1941, after a brief illness.
The deceased was born in the Town of Thorp (Eidsvold, Clark Co., Wis.) on Sept. 24, 1892, where she was brought up and graduated from the Stanley High School. After teaching several years she became a supervising teacher in Chippewa County which position she held at the time of her death.
She is survived by four brothers, Guy Warden of Eau Claire, Charles Warden of Rib Lake, Edward Warden f Cornell and James Warden of Cadott; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Hakes of Ruby and (Lilly) Mrs. Walter Brenner Sr., of Thorp.
Funeral services will be held today at 9:30 o’clock at St. Bernard’s Church, with Father A.M. Muckerheide officiating, and interment will take place in St. Bernard’s Cemetery.
