Thompson, Mary (1869 - 28 July 1955)
Mrs. Mary Thompson, a former Abbotsford, Wisconsin, resident, died last Thursday at 6:15 P.M. at the age of 85 years at the home of a son, Olin Thompson, at Rib Lake. She had been ill for a long time. Funeral services were held at Rib Lake Monday and burial was made in the Dorchester cemetery.
In 1893, Mrs. Thompson and her husband moved onto a farm one and one-half miles northwest of Abbotsford where they lived for many years. Mr. Thompson died in 1924. For the past two years she had been living in Rib Lake, and, prior to that lived with a daughter in Greenwood.
Surviving are four sons, Olin of Rib Lake, Maurice of Abbotsford, John of Arcidia, Colo., and Lloyd of Denver, Colo.; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Minnette) Stewart of Greenwood; 14 grand children, 21 great grand children.
