Firnstahl, Adeline (18 Apr. 1891 - 23 Oct. 1955)

Adeline Firnstahl died Sunday night at Colby, Wisconsin following a lingering illness at the age of 64 years. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 9:00 o’clock at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Rev. Vincent Schwartz officiating, and internment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers were Marcell Weix, Paul Umhoefer, Rudy Weix, Albert Weix, Emil Weix and Herbert Firnstahl.

The deceased was born in Colby, Wisconsin on April 18, 1891. She was employed by Marathon county in the county agent’s office for 25 years and was secretary of the Productive Credit Association, Wausau, for three years.

Surviving are two brothers and one sister - G. W. Firnstahl of Seattle, Wash., I. M. Firnstahl of Colby and Lona Firnstahl of Wausau.

The deceased was well known in Colby and will be remembered by her friends and relatives as being of a kindly, honest and cheerful disposition who always endeavored to perform her duties to the best of her ability.
