Fiebig, Herman H. (2 Feb. 1870 - 6 Dec. 1955)
Funeral services for Herman H. Fiebig who died at a Sheboygan, Wisconsin hospital Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the age of 85 years, were conducted at the Presbyterian church in Abbotsford Saturday afternoon, Rev. Richard Harrison officiating, and burial was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.
Herman Fiebig was born on February 2, 1870, at Plymouth. He married Eva Laura Mellen on May 18, 1892, at Plymouth. They made their home there until 1900 when they moved onto a farm two miles east of Abbotsford, Wis. In 1921, they moved to Abbotsford, Wis.
After the death of Mrs. Fiebig in 1949, he lived here about two years and then, due to illness, went to Sheboygan and made his home with his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Fiebig.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Fiebig were active workers in the Presbyterian church at Riverside and later at Abbotsford, Wis. Mr. Fiebig served the church at Abbotsford as elder and was also president of the Abbotsford Bank.
Surviving are five children - Alfred and Mrs. Armond (Clara) Stephen of Milwaukee, Edgar of Sheboygan, Roger of La Crosse and Gilbert of Green Bay. His wife and two children preceded him in death. Nine grand children and three great grand children also survive.
