Moczarny, Victoria (18 JUL 1869 - 27 APR 1942)
Mrs. Stanley Moczarny, 72, passed away at the Eau Claire hospital on Monday, April 27, where she was taken following a heart attack two days previous. Her health up to this time had been good.
Victoria Kowalczyk was born in Poland on July 18, 1869. She was married there in 1897 to Stanley Moczarny and the same year came to America with her husband. She resided in Chicago for eight years before coming to Thorp and locating on a farm in the Township of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.). They moved to the village eleven years ago.
Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Joseph of Thorp; two daughters, (Angeline) Mrs. Elmer Johnson, Eau Claire, and (Stella) Mrs. James Wolf of Chicago, one brother, Andrew Kowalczyk of Denver, Colo., and nine grandchildren.
Last rites will be conducted by Rev. F.A. Kulig at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church at ten o’clock this morning, April 30th, from the Bogumill Funeral Home. Burial will be made in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ig. Przybylski, Joe Kobylarczyk, Martin soda, Florian Anyzewski, John Nowobielski, and George Zukowski.
