Burzynski, Ann (27 JUN 1942)

A very pretty church wedding was solemnized at ten o’clock on Saturday, June 27th, 1942, at St. Mary’s Czestochowa Church in Junction (Clark Co., Wis.) when Miss Ann Burzynski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Burzynski of Thorp (Clark Co.), became the brie of Ted Liszewski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Liszewski of Lublin.

The church was beautifully decorated with garden flowers where Rev. Roman Papierniak performed the marriage ceremony. St. Stanislaus choir of Lublin furnished beautiful singing during the ceremony.

The bride entered the church with her father and the groom with his mother.

The bride was attired in a princess style gown of white Muslin De Soille and lace with a long train with lace inserts. Her long lace edged veil was held in place with a crown of rhinestones and pearl seeds. She carried a bouquet of white roses and carnations, white iris and swansonias.

The maid of honor, Clara Burzynski, sister of the bride, was dressed in a pink marquisette dress, lace trimmed and a headband and blusher to match. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and carnations tied with a blue ribbon.

The bride’s little sister, Emily, acted as flower girl. She wore a long pink and blue organdy dress with headband to match and carried a bouquet of roses and carnations.

The bridesmaids were Julia Liszewski, sister of the groom, and Mary Burzynski, sister of the bride. They wore blue marquisette, lace trimmed and headbands and blushers to match. They carried bouquets of roses and carnations tied with pink ribbons.

The maid of honor and bridesmaids wore pearls given to them as a gift from the bride, and the bride wore a beautiful gold cross.

The groom was attended by Andrew Burzynski as best man, brother of the bride, and Harry Burzynski, cousin of the bride. The groom and his attendants wore tuxedoes. The groom had a white gardenia boutonniere and his attendants had white carnations boutonnieres.

The groom and his attendants also wore white handkerchiefs given them and a gift from the bride and bridesmaid.

In the solemn part of the ceremony the bride attended by maid of honor, carried a white bouquet to the altar of the Virgin Mary.

The reception to the newly married couple was held at the American Legion Hall in Thorp, where dinner and supper was served throughout the day and evening.

The many Friends and relatives join in heartiest congratulations to the newly wedded couple and wish them much success and happiness throughout their life together.
