Elstrom, Arlene Vivian (Marriage - 7 May 1949)
Miss Arlene Vivian Elstrom, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Elstrom of Colby, Wis., and Mr. Wm. J. Foker, were united in marriage at Chippewa Falls, Wis., Saturday, May 7th, Orrin M. Larrabee, county judge, performing the marriage ceremony. The couple was attended by Jean Elstrom, sister of the bride, and Carl J. Lehrer.
The bride was attired in an aqua suit with white hat and gloves and her corsage consisted of roses and carnations. Her attendant wore a brown suit with pink hat and gloves and her corsage also consisted of roses and carnations.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. Decorations consisted of blue and white streamers and wedding bells. A wedding dance was given at Walter’s pavilion followed by a reception at the Elstrom home after the dance.
The couple left on a wedding trip to Canada and will be at home after May 28th at the Cabin Nite Club at Chippewa Falls where the groom is employed.
