Becker, Mary Lou (Marriage - 18 June 1949)
Miss Mary Lou Becker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Becker of Colby, Wis., became the bride of Emal A. Fleischauer, Jr., of Madison, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Fleischauer of Colby, on Saturday morning at 9:30 o’clock at St. Mary’s rectory in Colby, on Saturday, Rev. N. B. Beschta officiating at the ceremony. Mrs. Norbert Dondermeyer of Kaukauna, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and the groom was attended by Kenneth J. Engeldinger of Colby, Wis.
The bride was attired in a white sharkskin suit, red roses in her hair and carried a nosegay of red and white roses. The matron of honor wore a sharkskin suit of aqua, fashioned like that of the bride’s with white accessories and had yellow roses in her hair.
Dinner was served to the immediate families at the home of the bride.
Both the bride and groom are graduates of the Colby, Wis. High School. The bride is now a senior in the University of Wisconsin School of Nursing. Mr. Fleischauer received his B.A. degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin school of Commerce, and is now a second year student in the University Law School. He is affiliated with the Beta Alpha Psi, a professional accounting fraternity. Following a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin, they will reside in Madison.
