Daufenbach, Norma (Marriage - 16 July 1949)
Miss Norma Daufenbach, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Daufenbach, and Leonard Albert Weix, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Weix, exchanged marriage vows Saturday, July 16, at St. Mary’s parsonage, Rev. N. B. Beschta reading the marriage ceremony. Mary Ellen Weix was the maid of honor and Mary Ann Weix and Dorothy Harbes were bridesmaids. The groom was attended by Paul Weix, Sam Harbes and Norman Daufenbach.
The bride was attired in a white satin street dress and her bouquet consisted of roses and carnations. Her attendants wore taffeta street dresses in blue, yellow and pink respectively. All had bouquets of gladiola sprouts.
A reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents, and, in the evening, a wedding dance was given at Walter’s pavilion.
The groom is a former air force sergeant.
The young couple left on a wedding trip to Chicago, Ill.
