Roohr, Winona (Marriage - 17 Sept. 1949)
Winona Roohr, daughter of Mrs. Alma Roohr of Colby, and John Schmidt were married Saturday, September 17th, 1949, at the Methodist parsonage at Perham, Minn., Rev. Henricks reading the marriage ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Schmidt were their attendants.
The bride was attired in a powder blue crepe gown and her bouquet consisted of gladiolas and roses and her attendant wore a dress of aqua crepe and her bouquet consisted of roses.
The couple left on a wedding trip to Logan, Utah, to visit the bride’s brother, George K. Roohr, and family.
The groom is employed by the Donovan Construction Company of Minneapolis, Minn., and the bride by the Clark Electric Cooperative of Greenwood.
