Will, Doris Marie (Marriage - 24 Sept. 1949)
Doris Marie Will, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Will, and Ervin Schilling, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Schilling, were united in marriage Saturday morning, Sept. 24, at 9:00 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Colby, Wis., Rev. N. B. Beschta reading the marriage ceremony.
The bride was attired in a white satin gown with train, fingertip veil with sweetheart headdress. Her bouquet consisted of roses and gladioli. Mrs. Donald Will, matron of honor, wore an aqua taffeta formal and her bouquet consisted of roses and daisies. The bridesmaids, Mrs. Arlyn Edblom, Irene Schilling, Mary Ann Casey and Mrs. Herb Schilling, wore fuchsia, orchid, green and rose taffeta gowns and their bouquets also consisted of daisies and roses.
The groom was attended by Arlyn Edblom, Tommie Schilling, Victor Koleske and Herbert Schilling.
A reception was given at the home of the bride, and, in the evening, a dance at Walter’s pavilion. The newlyweds left on a wedding trip to Northern Wisconsin. The groom is employed by the Hull Co-op cheese factory, Colby, Wis.
