Dr. H. H. Christofferson was reappointed as a member of the Wisconsin State Board of Medical Examiners for a four-year term by the governor of Wisconsin. The appointment was signed by Governor Oscar Rennebohm. Other members of the board are Dr. Ernie Miller of Milwaukee, Dr. John Smith of Milwaukee, Dr. A. Ruffalo of Kenosha, Dr. Al Koehler of Oshkosh, Dr. Ed Murphy of Eau Claire, Dr. C. A. Dawson of River Falls, Dr. B. Prentice of Ashland. At a session of the board the fore part of last week, 134 new doctors were examined.
This is Dr. Christofferson’s fourth appointment to this high state office having been previously appointed by Governors LaFollette, Heil and Goodland. He and Murphy are the oldest board members, each filling terms of 1* year, a distinction never before equaled and is of still higher honor to Dr. Christofferson, for, as a rule, doctors in such small towns as Colby, Wisconsin are seldom even considered.
