Wins Honors
Kenneth J. Engeldinger of Colby, Wis., student at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, has been awarded sophomore honors for the excellence of his work in the state University’s College of Engineering. Engeldinger, a graduate of Colby High School, earned sophomore honors in mining engineering. Dean Morton O. Withey, in announcing the names of 55 young men who earned a grade point average of 2.25 in all residence courses at the end of the semester or term in which they have attained 60 residence credits, while high honors go to those earning an average of 2.75 grade points per credit of study taken. A grade point average of 3.00 would mean perfect grades in all studies.
