Richter, Augusta (11 June 1863 - 3 Jan. 1949)

Mrs. Augusta Richter, of Curtiss, age 85, died Monday morning at 5:30 o’clock at the home of Miss Bertha Kraut where she had been living since the death of her husband in 1947. Old age complications were the cause of her death. Funeral services will be held at the Peace Ev. and Reformed church at Curtiss this Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, Rev. Franz Puhlmann officiating, and internment will be made in the parish cemetery.

Mrs. Richter was born June 11th, 1863, in Herzfelde, Germany. She was married to Fred Richter in Germany in 1883.

Curtiss has been her home for 54 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran church.

There are no immediate survivors. One son, John, died in World War I and another died in infancy.
