Langjahr, Pearl (2 Nov. 1900 - 13 May 1949)

Mrs. Elmer Langjahr of Unity, age 48, died Friday morning at 11:55 at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital, diabetes and other complications being the cause of her death. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Methodist [part of the sentence was missing from the original article] officiating, and internment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers were Anton Korntved, Joe Spencer, Gust Carlson, Alfred Johnson, Martin Evenson, Leo A. Hebert. Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Sue Cook, Mrs. Alfred Johnson, Mrs. Martin Evenson, Mrs. Joe Spencer, Mrs. Ted Salter and Mrs. Sam Stark.

Mrs. Langjahr, nee Pearl Draper, was born in Unity Nov. 2, 1900, and was married Dec. 8, 1923, at Rockford, Ill., to Elmer Langjahr who preceded her in death Sept. 25, 1948. There are no children. She received her education in Unity and lived in Madison a short time. She spent most of her life in Unity and vicinity. She was a member of the Methodist church, The Women’s Society of Christian Service and the American Legion Auxiliary.

The only surviving relatives are a niece, Mrs. Guy Turner of Unity and a cousin, Coryl Hirsch of Abbotsford, Wis.
