Knuf, Helen (20 July 1902 - 26 May 1949)
Mrs, Ernest Knuf died Thursday, May 26th, at her farm home in the town of Unity at the age of 46 years. She had been ill for two years. Funeral services were held at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby Sunday afternoon, Rev. Diedrich Kuehl, Lutheran minister of March Rapids, officiating, and internment was made in the Cadott cemetery.
Mrs. Knuf was born in Wisconsin Rapids July 20, 1902. When a child her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Blaubach, moved to a farm a few miles west of Spencer. She attended Spencer schools and was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran church.
Mrs. Knuf, nee Helen Blaubach, was married to Ernest Knuf in Spencer in October, 1930, and resided near Stratford until moving to their present home about two years ago.
Besides her husband, she is survived by seven children: Evelyn, 17; Philip, 15; Marcus, 14; Rueben, 10; Caroline, 8; Verna, 4; and Neta, 2, all at home.
Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Emma Blaubach of Spencer, a sister, Mrs. Fred Gunzboth of Spencer; two brothers, Carl of Wausau, and Leonard of Loretta, Michigan; and a step brother, Fred, of Hamburg. Her father died three years ago.
