Kopp, Marie (26 July 1866 - 20 Aug. 1949)
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Evangelical and Reformed church at Curtiss for Mrs. Marie Kopp, age 83, of the town of Hoard who died Saturday at 1:50 A.M. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Neuman of Curtiss, where she had been staying since becoming ill three weeks ago. Rev. F. P. Puhlmann of Colby conducted the services and internment was made in the church cemetery. Pall bearers were Albert Bakke, Theo. Thompson, Edwin Peterson, Marcus Hermanson, Gust Becken and Albert Phillips.
Mrs. Kopp, nee Boehm, was born in Austria July 26, 1866, and was married in 1894 to Wolfgang Kopp, who died about eight years ago. Since her marriage she had resided on a farm in the town of Hoard, which is being operated by her son, Harry, since retiring from farming some time ago.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Walter Neuman of Curtiss and three sons, Rudolph and Harry of Curtiss and Franklin of the state of Washington. There are five grand children. One daughter, Elsie, preceded her mother in death.
