Buchholz, Dorothy (10 JUN 1942)
P.F.C Douglas Braithwaite, son of Mrs. Edith Braithwaite of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), and Miss Dorothy Buchholz of Milwaukee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O.A. Buchholz of Fond du Lac, were united in marriage at Neillsville on Wednesday, June 10th, 1942.
The groom was in military uniform with a white carnation and the bride wore a light green sport suit, wearing a corsage of pink rosebuds. After a honeymoon in Northern Wisconsin the groom will return to his respective post in North Carolina, and the bride will return to her home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
A shower was given Wednesday evening at the Braithwaite home in honor of the bride and groom. Many lovely gifts were receive.
