Rued, Violet (12 JUN 1942)
A simple wedding took place at the home of Axel Rued on Friday afternoon, June 12, 1942, when his daughter, Violet, became the bride of Chester Bangsberg Jr. of Gilman.
Rev. G.E. Borreson officiated and Mrs. Borreson played, O Perfect Love, during the ceremony.
The couple was attended by their fathers, Axel Rued and Hester Bangsberg Sr. A wedding luncheon was served to the immediate family after the service.
The bride is a graduate of the Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) High School class of 1940. The couple will make their home on the groom’s farm near Gilman.
