Jordan, Josephine #2 (8 AUG 1942)
Miss Josephine Jordan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Jordan of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), was united in marriage to Martin Ryona, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Ryona of Withee, at a 9 o’clock nuptial high mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greenwood, on Saturday, Aug. 8, 1942. The Rev. Father J.J. Novak performed the ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Arch of Milwaukee, brother-in-law and sister of the bride, attended the couple.
The bride was attired in a gown of white slipper satin, with a long train.
Breakfast, luncheon and dinner were served to 30 people at the home of the bride’s parents.
The bride is a graduate of the Greenwood High School and attended the Central State Teachers College at Stevens Point. She taught in the schools of Clark County for a number of years.
They will be at home to their friends at Withee, after a trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota and Yellowstone National Park.
